Grupo Entre's solution connects shopkeepers and buyers at the 28th Pan-Amazon Book Fair
Developed by Entrepay, BCodex and Asap Tech, in partnership with Banpará, APP Beneficiário is adopted as the event's official payment platform
This year's 28th Pan-Amazon Book and Multivoice Fair adopted a solution from the EntrePay Group, called APP Beneficiário, as its official payment platform. Developed by Entrepay, BCodex and Asap Tech, in partnership with Banpará, the application was adapted to guarantee secure digital transactions during the event, operating, among other features, CredLivro, a benefit for state public school teachers to buy books.
The information was published by Jornal Passaporte, Correio Paraense and Amazônia TV, among other media outlets in the region.
Grupo Entre's solution allows CredLivro funds to be used exclusively in accredited establishments, boosting local commerce and expanding the reach of public policies to encourage reading. It also makes it possible to operate other programs with targeted use of funds, by means of cards or digital wallets that restrict spending by type of product and geographical area, ensuring the correct application of funds, preventing misuse and stimulating the local economy.
"The APP was designed to be a versatile solution, capable of serving different social programs, offering control, security and agility in the distribution of public resources. It also expands digital access and improves the management of these benefits," says Antonio Freixo, Entrepay's CEO.
During the fair, beneficiaries will be able to check their balance, find accredited booksellers and make payments via QR Code directly from their cell phones. Exhibitors, meanwhile, will have access to statements and transactions, as well as being able to cancel sales autonomously, eliminating queues, paperwork and unnecessary bureaucracy, says the businessman.
The technology also automatically verifies the sellers' economic activity (via CNAE), releasing payments only to establishments that fall within the program's rules. The system helps prevent fraud and reinforces the value of regional commerce.
"It's a model that safely promotes strategic areas of society, since the funds can't be diverted to other uses, such as online betting, for example. In addition, the system boosts entrepreneurship and local commerce," says Pedro Rosa, CEO of BCodex.
After the positive experience at the 27th edition of the fair in 2024, the use of the APP will be expanded this year to other literary events in the state, such as the VI Xingu International Literary Festival, the IV Castanhal Book Fair and the VI Canaã dos Carajás Literary Fair, consolidating itself as a tool to support culture and the regional economy, says Antonio Carlos Freixo Junior, CEO of the Entre Group.
Since 2021, the Government of Pará has been investing in CredLivro, a credit that can reach up to R$ 200.00 granted to permanent civil servants in the state education system, from general service professionals to teachers. Initially operated in person, the benefit began to be managed entirely by the app from 2024, which made the process more agile, secure and accessible.
In 2024, more than 106,000 users received the benefit, totaling R$5 million in credits used during the fair to buy books, the result of a partnership between the state government and municipalities in Pará.
