"It's always been my dream. Ever since I was playing, I knew I wanted to continue in volleyball as a team manager, and I wanted it to be in the Northeast, where I started. Our goal is to turn Norde into a solid and inspiring Serie A team, so that the new generation has a team from the region to cheer for and dream of playing for," said Negrão, speaking at the launch.
In an interview with the newspaper, the coach said he expected a very even contest between the teams, which he defined as strong and well prepared. "It's natural to be nervous at the start, but we're focused and confident to fight for the title. We know it's going to be a tough competition, but we want to turn this dream into reality," he said.
