Payment solutions must be integrated, say experts
EntrePay, Grupo Entre's acquiring company, is quoted in an article on the Brazil Economy website, which deals with the impact of PIX and digital wallets on the sector.
EntrePay, Grupo Entre's acquiring company, is mentioned in an article on the Brazil Economy website, published on August 23, about the impact of innovations such as PIX, wallets and digital currencies on the use of credit, debit and prepaid cards.
According to the executives interviewed by the publication, the way for cards to remain relevant is to integrate with other means of payment. "The future of payment methods is invisible, decentralized and hyper-personalized. And this has a lot to do with Embeded Finance, Open Finance, distributed models and AI. The adoption of these new models and technologies, driven by the Central Bank of Brazil's agenda, has been shaping the electronic means of payment market towards a reduction in entry barriers, generating a wide choice of solutions for consumers, greater financial inclusion and cost reduction for the ecosystem," said Anderson Santana, Entrepay's CCO.
According to the executive, integration will need to come hand in hand with delivering a better user experience and a cost-benefit ratio for everyone involved in the ecosystem. For him, companies will need to provide integrated platforms that play a role in reducing the cost of entry, catalyzing the emergence of new payment solutions, from products to specialized tools, contributing to an economy of collaboration rather than centralization.
This is the path that has been followed by the Entre Group ecosystem, which has as one of its main objectives the democratization of financial services in Brazil, expanding access mainly outside the major centers and in the metropolitan regions of the capitals, as Francisco Carlos Freixo Junior, CEO of Entre Pay and the Entre Group, often points out.
