Fructus, a company focused on women's entrepreneurship, already has a high turnover in just 3 months

Istoé Dinheiro's portal tells how the project by entrepreneurs Júlia Freixo and Amanda Negrelli was conceived

On August 13 this year, in a meeting room in the São Paulo neighborhood of Itaim-Bibi, Fructus was officially launched. It is a fourth sector company whose aim is to promote female entrepreneurship through online sales and digital marketing strategies. At the head of the business are entrepreneurs Júlia Freixo and Amanda Negrelli.

That day, Júlia and Amanda got together with ten women, all with no experience in digital marketing or sales, to start a pilot project. The proposal was to teach these women how to sell viral physical products online, using only a cell phone.

A month later, Fructus had already doubled in size. What began as a pilot project has officially become a business. From the launch until now, the project participants have sold more than 1,230 products, with a combined gross revenue of more than R$150,000.00.

The company currently has a social project front and an internal sales team front, whose income is used to feed back into the company financially. In this way, it becomes sustainable. Now, the aim is to increase the number of project members and in-house sales by selecting new candidates.
