Businesses that accept cards increase sales by up to 30%

The newspaper A Tarde includes a statement by the CEO of Grupo Entre in one of its columns on payment methods

The Empregos & Negócios column in the Bahian newspaper A Tarde published a story in its November 17, 2024 edition about the benefits of accepting credit and debit cards for small and micro-entrepreneurs. The story was published both on the internet portal and in the printed version of A Tarde.

The text recounts the experience of some of these small business owners with accepting cards and brings the analysis of the local representative of the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) on the advantages of using these means of payment for the financial organization of these entrepreneurs, such as the separation of individual and corporate accounts.

According to a Sebrae study cited in the column, merchants who accept debit or credit cards as a form of payment increase sales by up to 30% a month.

Antonio Freixo, CEO of Grupo Entre, was interviewed by the newspaper and pointed out that another major benefit of these operations is security. "The machines offer greater protection against fraud and are always updated to prevent scams," he said. "With the advance of technology, even fraudsters have access to more sophisticated resources, which is why we are always one step ahead, ensuring that our customers are protected."

In partnership with Banco do Nordeste, EntrePay offers card machines to borrowers of the CrediAmigo program, aimed at micro and small entrepreneurs.
